I am known by many names. My other alterego is called Polgara the Gamerchick, named after the famous Wizard in David Edding’s Belgariad.
I?ve always thought of Woobie as my ?French? name. I was given the name Ruby at birth, but when I attended French classes, people pronounced my name with the traditional (Parisian) French accent and sounded like ?ooohh-beee?… hence the name, Woobie.

She graduated from the University of the Philippines, Manila, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. During her sojourn to full adulthood, she has moonlighted as a kindergarten tutor, English coach, a franchise owner and even a fortune teller. One of her dreams is to learn French and she managed to do that by studying the language at L’Alliance Francaise de Manille.
She is addicted to the internet and has been joining various MMORPGs available in the Philippines such as Fairyland, Tantra and Ragnarok. Of these, she got addicted to Ragnarok the most. She is known in Philippine Ragnarok Online as the whitesmith Polgara.
She has written many blogs but those had themes that often come across as angst-filled and not really showing her real personality. She hopes that this blog will be her best, and her last.
