Here I go posting about how I’m fascinated with the flashy Leo people. That guy in the office who laughs louder than others when someone else is bearing the brunt of a joke is probably a Leo. Or, that girl who never really talks to anyone, yet is strangely always visible and dressed to the nines, like she knows everyone’s looking.

I love this sign because they’re so easy to flatter. Anything that brings the spotlight on them will have them performing at their best. They will not even mind criticisms, although they act as if injured as hell. They wait until all eyes are on the issue before they deliver their own brand of well-researched criticism that’s so thorough and pointed … and the target can do nothing but cower as the King of Attention demonstrates to the world how to squash a worm.

A disclaimer to this sign is that, they may always like being the center of attention, but they will also be more than willing to let others have it… as long as they get proper credit. Leo will not hog the spotlight, but will be watching very keenly, waiting for you to utter an idea that you got from him without rightful citation.

The weakness of this sign is his own need for adoration. If no one listened to his speech on a topic, and people somehow found a way to write off his brilliantly shining sun as just a fixture, he will be seriously hurting.

A blind item is never complete without the leading clues. This particular Leo guy is an incurable romantic. Romance in a Leo’s perspective is two-pronged. That he has it means he will brag about it, scream to the world how wonderful life is and that people who will have none of this romance thing are either seriously missing out or insane.

Hint One: A romance-less Leo will do the exact opposite. He will scoff at love, sneer at people who celebrate a whole day of romance (i.e. Valentine’s), tell anyone who will listen how he has learned his lesson and will never partake in this foolishness ever again… but if we watch long enough, we will notice how it seems like he’s pining for it like a lost child waiting for momma, and how he dreams that love will find him despite his blatant boycotting of anything related to it.

Hint Two: This Leo guy has nothing but contempt for, in his own words, “fugly women” who join dating sites in the hopes of snagging a gullible fellow. Yet we notice how he himself joins these dating sites actively and is always on the lookout for single women who join social networking sites like Entrecard. Unabashed, he posts threads on how he appreciates a particular girl, and could she please notice how he’s admiring her from a distance.

Hint Three: While he’s flashy, he doesn’t come off as creepy. At least, not to me. I have him in my IM and chat with him occasionally. He’s seriously into love, and refuse to see women as objects of sex. For all his bluster, he doesn’t let himself be drawn into the ‘games’ that people play in relationships. He’s just a normal guy looking for a girlfriend to love and cherish forever.

This is the third batch of search engine questions that I will address directly. It’s fun to discover what words others used to reach my site.

He looks totally harmless but seems to gaze a few seconds longer at things or a person than other people. Books have always mentioned gaze intensity and eye depth as the giveaway physical trait of Scorpios, which is the probable reason for their habit of wearing shades even when it’s inappropriate (re: at night or inside an already dim room). His are never dull and always seem to convey a message that’s different from his over-all demeanor of boyishness. You could do a staring contest with this guy and 99% of the time, you will be the first to look away.

He will be the one to approach and start a conversation about some mundane thing, then progressively, about something that will lead to a date. Some nicer Scorpios will simply enjoy the attention, but never seem to take the hint, making you think that he’s thick. He’s not. He just… doesn’t like you.

Some men I met admitted to pining for a past lover at one time. But actually going back to that girl depends a lot on the status of a guy’s present relationship (or lack thereof).
