You might have noticed the zodiac dating guides that I offer to those who are curious about the main characteristics that members of each sign show during a date or in a love affair. I encountered a dating site which does the same. It’s a shame that it’s only available to eastern and western Europeans, but the rest of us may still visit WestEastCafe.eu for their Dating Horoscope pages.

My personal take on some of the things mentioned about each sign in the WestEastCafe pages:

• The “up for anything” people are the air signs (Gemini in particular)
• It is quite easy to simply sit back and let the fire signs (Leo, Aries and Sagittarius) strut their stuff in front of you. However, remember to clap in admiration on cue.
• The earth signs may need more constant and sustained affection than other signs. Consistency is the key to snagging a mate born under the earth signs (Capricorn, Virgo and Taurus)
• The water signs are very intuitive, and will almost always know when you’re feigning pleasure or affection (”faking”). The difference lies on how the members of the water signs react. Scorpio will resent it and call you out immediately, Aquarius will pretend not to notice and Pisces will feel very hurt but won’t say much about it.

Whether you feel that these are accurate or not, these zodiac profiles could be fun. I mean, dating has always been a guessing game, and observations such as those based on zodiac signs are definitely entertaining.

Learning about zodiac personalities is a fun way to sense out people. There are a few who are very skeptical about it, but for the most part, people are entertained by zodiac love signs and what they say about a person’s behavior. The fact that so many people share this particular interest of mine warms my heart and keeps me inspired to pursue this passion.

I came across an article at Cafepress showing zodiac symbols in stained glass. I chose two of my favorites, Aries and Libra, my sign and the BF’s, respectively.

My only problem with the images is: that’s exactly what they are, images! These aren’t real glass sculptures of zodiac symbols but drawings made through a Faux Stained Glass illustration technique. As the name suggests, these are works of art on paper. The image starts out as a drawing, which is then painted over with a photo of real stained glass. What could be a wonderful glass pendant or mantel decoration is still just a concept, albeit a very pretty and realistically illustrated concept.

Coincidentally, I came across this advertiser’s site Hand Blown Glass, and the artist running it (Darren Goodman) has the same last name as the late, great astrologer Linda Goodman (weird coincidence eh?). If any one of my visitors reached this page and hopes to find someone who could actually create sculptures of zodiac symbols, he is the guy to approach.

Here are my favorite Tattoo brands ever: Sun Signs! I personally prefer the more aggressive ones, such as those of a Scorpio and Aries, but the tamer looking ones, like Libra, are so cool too! Browse through these and choose your favorites!

The Ram is the symbol of Aries, the pack leader and the promoter of any organization. He is steadfast and dependable, energetic and strong. This tattoo signifies his greatness (and initiative to be the leader at all times).

This is Taurus, The Bull. No less unmovable than Aries when he makes a stand but will set aside everything for his loved ones. He is clannish and endearing, and mostly tame as long as you don’t wave the red flag.

Gemini is the most complex sign, if you don’t know where to look for vulnerability in his personality. He binds you in words and mischief, he jokes with you til your quest to find ‘the real him’ is completely diverted

Cancer is the sensitive Zodiac personality and that trait is particularly symbolized in this tattoo… The complexity is gently hidden and shows up only in moods, while a gentle wave comes out every once in a while to tickle you.

Leo is majestic and proud, and this tattoo’s representation does him justice. He is a simple guy with simple wants… EVERYTHING. Bigger than big, grander than grand… he doesn’t mince on his dreams and his efforts to take the world by the balls.

Virgo is sensitive too, only if it’s practical to be sensitive. He won’t sacrifice pragmatic reasoning just because he’s feeling emotional. He will do what needs to be done and then deal with the emotional issues after. He’s the perfect employee, but watch him run out when the party gets too lewd for his taste.

Libra’s balance is accurately shown in this tattoo. That he weighs things for benefits and disadvantages can be annoying, but someone’s got to do it, and they’re good at presenting both sides of a coin.

Scorpio wields magnetic power over everyone who dares to come close enough to feel his sting. His innocent face can go from soft to granite in seconds, while you are left in the dust wanting him all the more.

Sagittarius will never let you rest… laughing. They seem like the busiest people with so many stuff to do during the day, and then you realize that they spent just about a few hours just kidding around with you.
They will make the best promises and wait ’til you follow their lead before dropping hints that they weren’t going anywhere after all.

Capricorn tattoo expresses the same discipline that a person born under this sign practices on a daily basis. Every nuance is carefully implemented and each has a purpose. What results is a balance between social and home life, and between personal and business.

Aquarius! This is my favorite of favorites among the zodiac tattoos! The two figures represent water pouring from the proverbial Aquarius maiden’s jar, indicating temperament, tolerance and moderation. They do look like powerful waves, but at the same time, they seem like giant scythes to me. Maybe it’s just me. Such a strong representation for one of the tamest signs of the zodiac.

Pisces. This tattoo represents Pisces accurately, as do other figures like the fishes going in separate directions. There’s a conflict going on inside every Pisces. A conflict that only he or she can explain. It has a lot to do with his belief of the ideal and the cynical truth that he is so sensitive to. The best part of this sign is its ability to take the opposing factors and manipulate them towards getting his goals. He’s like a double agent, working both sides of the force to his advantage.

Reading books on sex and love making can be entertaining and educational, but actually getting to experience the sexuality that is preached there is far more satisfying. Here’s a naughty little post for women who want to experience a bit more than the usual sex.

Don’t go struggling to do cartwheels and contortions. Going through the motions to create a ‘unique’ position is distracting as you have to concentrate long and hard on keeping from toppling over. That’s not fun. Stick to the basics, but with a twist.

Here are the more ‘ordinary’ positions and my take on how you and I can enjoy them more.

1. Missionary

• Wrapping your legs around his waist is ok for the first 15 to 30 minutes, any much longer and you will feel the tired feeling on those legs. Hold your legs by the crook of the knees and transfer the strain to your arms (which aren’t doing much in this particular position, anyway). Holding your legs apart yourself for the duration of this position will let you concentrate on your orgasm.

2. Doggy position

• Deep penetration from behind with a bit of help on your part (playing with your clitoris while your partner is making love to you) will make this position your new favorite. The strain here is on your arms, and maybe it’s difficult to use one to play with yourself. My suggestion: When you use one hand to fondle your clitoris, transfer your weight from the other arm supporting your upper body to your elbows and shoulders.

• Closed doggy. For this, you will need a lot of lubrication (waterbased KY jelly is recommended). Keep your legs closed while he makes love to you from behind. This variation works when your partner is particularly well endowed (in terms of length), and deep penetration via regular dog style is painful more than pleasurable. Your legs and your butt cheeks contribute to the friction, which is a bit different from the usual doggy style.

3. Girl on Top -

• If he is lying on his back, a woman can only use her legs for support. Legs get wobbly after a while and you find that you cannot move up and down after a few minutes as the knees become wobbly. The secret to this is weight distribution. If your legs are short, plant your feet firmly to his side and move up and down as if you’re squatting, equally distributing your weight on your thighs and legs. It’s a bit easier for those with long legs, because they can kneel while doing this, and the knees are included in the weight distribution.

• Girl on top In reverse - This is the easiest variation for me. Ride him with your back facing him. Weight distribution in this position is easier as you can use your arms as leverage (holding his knees).

• Make him sit up or recline - This way you can use his shoulders or neck for support. You still need to distribute your weight equally between your thighs and legs, but now you can hold on to him while you do so.

4. Standing up - For this you will need to recline against a wall for leverage. Plant one foot firmly on the ground, and hold the other up by the crook of the knees using one arm. Your other arm could hold on to his body. The strain on the arm holding one leg up is the main downside of this position, but if your partner does not mind you switching arms to lift one leg every once in a while, this could be your favorite position yet.

These tips are designed to keep the woman (you) comfortable for the duration of the intercourse. Orgasm comes to us only when we feel relaxed and not thinking of something else (like how tired you are). How to drive a man wild in bed? You have to start with how to drive yourself wild in bed.

It must be the combination of browsing through an advertiser’s baby shower gifts site, having a Hollywood gossip mag on my lap and editing my girl sensing posts, all at the same time, that reminded me … Angelina Jolie just celebrated her birthday last June 4!

Her much hyped due date (August 19) got people bustling while her birthday slipped by unnoticed by many. Well, Woobie is a big fan so I know it’s her birthday. To my favorite Gemini Girl, Happy Birthday!

This girl isn’t all sweetness, she’s edgy and quirky, not to mention a bit weird (she and her ex husband carried vials of each other’s blood around their necks), but she’s a damn good actress and a philanthropist. In 2001, Angelina was appointed Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Her big heart and how she adopts babies and raise them as her own must have been what attracted Sagittarian Brad most.

I admire her most for being a mom by choice, these moms are ladies who go out of their way to be moms. Not an easy task, but a rewarding decision. And now, they’re having twins! I can just imagine the kicks from those babies in her tummy. For now, her soon to be born twins are stealing all the limelight, but I bet she doesn’t mind.

Girly stuff post!

I was browsing the Tiffany Inspired Jewelry catalog of an advertiser when a sudden thought occurred to me. How do the girls of the Zodiac react to sweet gifts from a suitor?

Narrowing it down to the most romantic of the girl signs, Cancer, Pisces, Leo and Scorpio, here are my deductions:

The Leo lady will be the most delighted. She has the princess complex, see, and jewelry is right up her alley. A guy should probably gloss over the fact that these are replicas, though cleverly made so that one cannot really tell the difference.

Cancer girl will giggle a lot with delight when she receives these and will be the most appreciative at the gesture, but will wear these only if it goes with the rest of her outfit.

Pisces and Scorpio will react the same way, touched to the brink of tears with sentiment. These girls will wear them often when you’re together and probably buy a box to keep these in when you’re not on a date. Gotta keep them maintained for future generations to appreciate (”your grandfather gave me these on our first date”).

A hint to guys

All women, even the most non-materialistic ones, will appreciate a gift or two because it makes them feel appreciated. Remember that it’s not the gift but the thought behind it. That you remembered her while you were browsing at a mall or the net means a lot. This is the real meaning of retail therapy: the feeling of being pampered.

If I ignore a pisces male will he be hurt?

If he cares enough, yes. Though it may seem like he ignored you first. Pisces males and females love to send out smokescreens for protection of what they really feel. This is the sign that’s the most difficult to read, and they can easily fool dense people. They take things way too personally when at the receiving end of pranks, but they play the best pranks themselves.

Will a Capricorn and Aries relationship work?

I have only seen this a few times; one romantic relationship and another, purely friendship. Capricorn babies the Aries, but breeds resentment when the scolding nature of Capricorn surfaces after a few months of being together. The good side of this union is that, when both realize that one is the other’s source of strength, they become codependent. I know that the term has a negative connotation, but it’s the most apt. Aries is the attention-seeking baby, and Capricorn needs someone to baby.

My wife hates me. What should I do?

Contrary to popular belief, hate is a good thing in relationships. Hate means strong feelings, lashing out, taking things by the balls and seeking revenge. Hate also means still caring about how the other person will react to your actions, and that he can still turn it around. Do the opposite of what she hates about you, and stick to the change of behavior for as long as you can. If she really feels hate for you, you’ll probably know why already (i.e. “you don’t love me!”). Do your best not to let the ‘hate’ turn to apathy, because by then it will be too late.

Which girl zodiac does not require foreplay?

All women require foreplay, in whatever form: actual touching and kissing, flirting over the phone or online, or the sexual tension that builds when you both know you like each other but pretend otherwise. Foreplay is anything that gets a girl thinking of sleeping with you; it creates fantasies and promises better things to come. Considering these statements, a guy must at least make an effort for the girl to feel it for him.

I was minding my own business working at my PC when the boyfriend passed by. He was going out. I noticed that he’s wearing Davidoff aftershave, and complimented him, “Wow, you smell good.”

He was nonchalant and glanced only once in my direction, which made me roll my eyes. “You’re supposed to say ‘thank you’ when someone compliments your fragrance.”

With a straight face, he looked at me and said, “Hun, when someone says you smell good, and you know you do because you put on perfume, that’s merely stating a fact. Now, when someone says you smell good when you didn’t put on perfume, that’s when you say thanks.”

I waved my goodbye wordlessly as he went out and run that scene again in my mind. Maybe that’s what got me into him in the first place. He can see things differently.

Aries time in astrology charts is “me” time. While some might argue that my nurturing nature could brand me as Pisces, I beg to differ. The opinionated girl who wants to stay on top of things and take charge of an endeavor is definitely Arian, the dominatrix. Now birthday wishlists, the commoly seen ones, aren’t my thing. The creative people at AJ’s Western Wear Outfitters ordered this review to introduce their line of bling-bling belts to me and my readers. Belts are traditional accessories that we wear everyday for necessity. Most of the time, we wear outfits that hide it because there’s nothing to show, really.

These extremely fabulous belts are encrusted with rhinestones and Swarovski crystals. There’s one for every Arian personality. Look…

For the down-to-earth, homey and religious Arian. It’s acid-washed leather accented with cross designs and small crystal accents.

This two-toned pink embossed belt is for the times when this passionate girl feels kittenish and demure. There’s nothing demure about the bling though, as this silver-studded, crystal-accented belt exclaims “pretty!” whenever light is upon it.

This belt looks simple and sleek for the office, but looking closely, there’s nothing simple about the design. This one’s made up of silver links and embedded Swarovski. Elegant and chic, the girl residing at the next cubicle will want one for herself.

These are a few of the belts showcased, but one of them is a standout as it screams Woobie all the way. It’s not red, but I’ll be sure to wear it with a red top and jet black, straight-cut jeans, and.. hmm, stiletto boots, definitely. And it has crystal hearts on it too, look…

Here I go posting about how I’m fascinated with the flashy Leo people. That guy in the office who laughs louder than others when someone else is bearing the brunt of a joke is probably a Leo. Or, that girl who never really talks to anyone, yet is strangely always visible and dressed to the nines, like she knows everyone’s looking.

I love this sign because they’re so easy to flatter. Anything that brings the spotlight on them will have them performing at their best. They will not even mind criticisms, although they act as if injured as hell. They wait until all eyes are on the issue before they deliver their own brand of well-researched criticism that’s so thorough and pointed … and the target can do nothing but cower as the King of Attention demonstrates to the world how to squash a worm.

A disclaimer to this sign is that, they may always like being the center of attention, but they will also be more than willing to let others have it… as long as they get proper credit. Leo will not hog the spotlight, but will be watching very keenly, waiting for you to utter an idea that you got from him without rightful citation.

The weakness of this sign is his own need for adoration. If no one listened to his speech on a topic, and people somehow found a way to write off his brilliantly shining sun as just a fixture, he will be seriously hurting.

Who is This Leo Blogger … ?

A blind item is never complete without the leading clues. This particular Leo guy is an incurable romantic. Romance in a Leo’s perspective is two-pronged. That he has it means he will brag about it, scream to the world how wonderful life is and that people who will have none of this romance thing are either seriously missing out or insane.

Hint One: A romance-less Leo will do the exact opposite. He will scoff at love, sneer at people who celebrate a whole day of romance (i.e. Valentine’s), tell anyone who will listen how he has learned his lesson and will never partake in this foolishness ever again… but if we watch long enough, we will notice how it seems like he’s pining for it like a lost child waiting for momma, and how he dreams that love will find him despite his blatant boycotting of anything related to it.

Hint Two: This Leo guy has nothing but contempt for, in his own words, “fugly women” who join dating sites in the hopes of snagging a gullible fellow. Yet we notice how he himself joins these dating sites actively and is always on the lookout for single women who join social networking sites like Entrecard. Unabashed, he posts threads on how he appreciates a particular girl, and could she please notice how he’s admiring her from a distance.

Hint Three: While he’s flashy, he doesn’t come off as creepy. At least, not to me. I have him in my IM and chat with him occasionally. He’s seriously into love, and refuse to see women as objects of sex. For all his bluster, he doesn’t let himself be drawn into the ‘games’ that people play in relationships. He’s just a normal guy looking for a girlfriend to love and cherish forever.
